The National Bar Association is seeking applicants for the Crump Law Camp which was established for students entering grades 9th thru 11th grades and between the ages of 14 and 17 to introduce them to the judicial system. Funeral arrangements have been made for Mrs. Lenora "Doll" Carter. The body will lie in state starting at noon on Friday, April 16 at Holman Street Baptist Church located at 3501 Holman Houston, Texas 77004 with a celebration to be held Friday night from 7-9 PM. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 17 at Holman Street Baptist Church at 10:00 AM. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Julius and Lenora Carter Youth Scholarship Fund at Wells Fargo bank. [more]

The Ft. Bend Stars is in the process of adding two new girls teams to our organization. We are looking to add an 8U and 11U girls team. If you are interested, please email us at athletic.director@ftbendstars.com. Spaces are limited to ensure adequate player development as well as equal playing time.
Congratulations to the 12U Blue boys team for placing first in the Prime Time Tournament held at the Gym this past weekend. The boys went undefeated to capture the gold. Hats off to Coach Solomon and Mouton for a job well done!!

It is with deepest regret that the Ft. Bend Stars Family inform you of the passing of Mrs. Lenora "Doll" Carter. Mrs. Carter is the mother of Karen Richards and grandmother of Nykala Richards of our 14U girls team. Mrs. Carter has served as editor of the Forward Times, an African American owned and independently published newspaper since 1971. Cy-Fair Invitational Liability Release Form - Coaches - if your team is scheduled to play in the Cy-Fair Invitational, please download the Liability Release Form and have your players and parents sign prior to your first game.
Summer Youth Enrichment Programs- Enrichment and ExxonMobil Bernard Harris Summer Science Camp. The Institude for Pre-College Enrichment, a two week residential program is geared toward high school students completing the 10th or 11th grade that are interested in various academic and technical careers.
The ExxonMobil Bernard Harris Summer Science Camp, a two week residential program which aims to enhance the middle school learning experience of the students completing the 5th, 6th or 7th grade and increase the pursuit of studies in science, mathematics and engineering disciplines.

Tournament schedules are now available for the Cy-Fair Invitational Tournament. All girls teams and the 12 and 13U boys teams will be playingin the Cy-Fair Invitational. The 12U Silver boys team will play in the Prime Time tourney held in the Woodlands, Tx this weekend. The Prime Time schedule is also available. Schedules are subject to change so parents should verify game times prior to your first game.
